Poole VE VJ Day Heritage Event
15 August 2021 marked the 75th (+1) anniversary of the end of WW2 and this event, organised by The Society for Poole, told some of the stories of the town.
Poole played a key part during the war, providing a flotilla of boats to Dunkirk and the port was the third largest embarkation point for US forces on D Day.
